Returns Policy and Right of Withdrawal

This page explains how you can return a product, exercise your right of withdrawal (14 days), and what happens if the item arrives defective or not as described. This policy applies to purchases made at RIVIERA TRADE SL (WWW.LATIENDANAVAL.ES).

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

You have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the purchase without having to justify your decision and without incurring any penalty.

The period is counted from:
-
The delivery of the product, or
-
The delivery of the last product in orders with several items shipped separately.

For services or digital content/services (not supplied on a tangible medium), the period is counted from the conclusion of the contract. If you agree for the service/digital content to start before the 14 days, you may lose the right of withdrawal in the cases provided by law.

Not applicable to personalised items or made-to-measure products (custom-cut wood, custom-cut boards, …).

Important: To validly withdraw, it is enough to communicate it unequivocally within the period (see section 2).

How to exercise the right of withdrawal

Send an unambiguous statement indicating that you wish to withdraw. You may use our Withdrawal Form (see end of this page) or any clear communication that includes your details and order number.

We will confirm receipt. Once the withdrawal has been communicated:

You must send/return the goods within 14 calendar days from your communication.

We will provide return instructions and, where applicable, a label or drop-off point.

Return costs and refunds

If you return under the right of withdrawal (change of mind):

Return costs: borne by the customer (unless we state otherwise or we failed to inform you).

Refund: full price paid.

If you return a defective/non-conforming product:
-
Return costs are borne by us.
-
The legal guarantee applies (see section 6).

Refund period: we will make the refund without undue delay, and at the latest within 14 calendar days from the day you inform us of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier. The refund will be made using the same means of payment, unless you agree otherwise.

Condition of the product and liability for depreciation

You may handle and inspect the goods as you would in a shop to verify their nature, characteristics, and functioning. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Please return products complete, with their accessories and manuals and, if possible, in the original packaging. This does not limit the exercise of the right of withdrawal.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal (no change-of-mind returns)
There is no right of withdrawal in, among others, the following cases:

Goods made to measure or clearly personalised.
-
Goods that may deteriorate or expire rapidly.
-
Sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons which have been unsealed after delivery (e.g., underwear, opened cosmetics, etc.).

Audio or video recordings, computer software, or other sealed media once unsealed.
-
Daily newspapers, periodicals, and magazines.
-
Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once execution has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement of the loss of the right of withdrawal.

Services fully performed with your consent within the withdrawal period.

Defective or non-conforming products (legal guarantee)
If the product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you are covered by the legal guarantee:

New goods: 3 years from delivery.

Digital content/services: 2 years.
-
Second-hand goods: the period may be agreed but will never be less than 1 year.
You may choose between repair or replacement (unless one is impossible or disproportionate); or, where appropriate, a price reduction or termination of the contract. Any costs incurred (transport, parts, labour) are at our expense.
If you receive a damaged or wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery to expedite the process.

Return procedure (summary)

Notify the withdrawal or the issue (defect/non-conformity) by email or via the form.

Prepare the parcel with the product and its accessories; protect the shipment.

Send the parcel following our instructions. For defect/non-conformity, we will arrange collection or provide a prepaid label.

Keep the proof of shipment. In returns due to withdrawal, the risk of loss or damage until delivery is borne by the sender.

Refund/solution: we will issue the refund or apply the warranty solution in accordance with the law.
